Adele reveals she collapsed backstage during Las Vegas residency
ADELE has revealed that she collapsed backstage during her Las Vegas residency, due to a sciatica attack.
The singer said a member of her production team found her unable to move backstage after a flare-up of the spinal condition.
She told fans: “They picked my whole body up off the floor.”
Adele also had to take time out during the show at the weekend, and said: “I am going to sit down and rest my sciatica.”
She has only recently returned to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace after a month-long break in her Weekends With Adele shows, which run until November.
She previously revealed she is often forced to “waddle” due to her condition which can cause pain down one or both legs from the lower back.
She had been trying to alleviate the symptoms by hitting her gym in her Beverly Hills mansion.
But she soon suffered a setback.
She said: “Early on this year I started bragging about my sciatica, I wasn’t feeling it any more. Then God brought it back.”
