Moneyball fans brand ‘cursed’ episode of Ian Wright game show ‘a joke’ after string of errors
VIEWERS of Moneyball were left branding the show’s latest episode ‘a joke’ after a string of errors.
Fans of the new ITV Saturday night game show were left dismayed when the contestant’s on tonight’s show put on a rather underwhelming performance.
Hosted by former footballer Ian Wright, the show involved pairs of individuals hoping to get all the questions right in order to have the chance of winning a prize pot.
If the couples get the answers correct they get to launch the Moneyball.
The Moneyball then can land in either a section of the prize board that houses big money or they could find themselves in the ‘danger’ zone.
However, it was clear that fortune was not on the cards for the first two couples after they failed to answer a series of questions.
Father and daughter duo, Jermaine and Charis, were on screen for less than ten minuets after they were quickly sent packing from the ITV programme.
They did not manage to bag any money just moments after a couple from Manchester suffered the same fate.
Viewers were then quick to brand the episode as “cursed” as they hit out at the show.
Writing on X, formerly Twitter, one viewer said: “What a joke! They’re already out.”
Another added: “This is one very cursed episode. Another pair losing out. Hard luck.”
A third said more bluntly: “F***ing hell that was s***.”
Whilst a fourth said of the disaster rounds: “Oh dear… wrong.”
Despite all the errors, the final couple in the episode managed to change things around.
After managing to scrape through the round, the pair bagged an impressive £24,000.
