Arleen Sorkin was born in Washington D.C. on October 14, 1955.
She grew up in a Jewish family and got her breakthrough on the soap Days of Our Lives, on which she played Calliope Jones from 1984 through to 1990.
She would reprise the role several more times, most recently in 2010.
Arleen also voiced the iconic villain Harley Quinn in Batman: The Animated Series.
The star was college friends with Paul Dini, who created the character and based it on her.

Arleen married TV producer Christopher Lloyd in 1995.
Christopher is best known for being an executive producer on Frasier during its run from 1993 to 2004 and Modern Family from 2009 to 2020.
