Freddie Slater makes a huge romance decision in EastEnders
REELING from the truth about his father Graham Foster, Freddie Slater is slowly getting back to a normal life in the Square.
Romance is on the cards for the EastEnders favourite next week after he makes a huge decision. But will he regret it?
The Beales are on the verge of an explosive showdown in the BBC One soap as Cindy and Ian (played respectively by Michelle Collins and Adam Woodyatt) come back to the Square next week.
Cindy has been presumed dead for 25 years and, during her absence, she took on the name of Rose before welcoming two daughters, Anna and Gina, with George Knight.
In 2014, Cindy aka Rose walked out on her new family and the date coincides with Lucy Beale’s murder, which an eleven-year-old Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) was responsible for.
Years went by with Bobby finally repenting for Lucy’s death and George moving into Albert Square with both Anna and Gina ahead of his nuptials with Elaine Peacock.
However, and as mentioned above, Cindy is due to head back to Walford and drag the past back with her, which could spell trouble for Bobby and Anna.
Meanwhile, Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) remains on the side-lines as his pal faces a potential confrontation with Cindy over Lucy’s death.
Anna (Molly Rainford) gets the shock of a lifetime when Cindy shows up and, in later scenes, she and Freddie head over to the chippy.
Later on, Bobby tries to speak with Anna but she explains that it would be better for them to simply stay friends given the circumstances.
Freddie took an instant liking to both Anna and Gina when they first arrived in June, 2023, much like Bobby who has become smitten with the former.

But with Cindy returning to Walford, their budding romance is surely compromised, particularly as Peter Beale (Thomas Law) was horrified to find out they were exploring their potential as a couple, despite them not being related by blood.
On the other hand, Freddie has had issues when trying to find a girlfriend and was most recently involved in a storyline during which he learned his mother Little Mo was raped.
Could he go head to head with Bobby as he grows closer with Anna?
EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
