I’m a lazy mum and get shamed for my messy house but I don’t care, I’m constantly cleaning and there’s no rats
A MUM has hit bac at trolls who say her house is too messy and it’s a bad example for her kids.
Amanda Rose shared a video on social media of her house, and immediately received loads of comments from other parents shaming her home.
Although Amanda’s house might not be pristine, she said it’s not as bad as people make out.
“There’s people saying that I have roaches or rats. I have never seen a roach or a rat in my life,” she slammed.
“The only bug issue that I have is the occasional fruit fly. People think that I’m lying about this, why would I lie about that?”
The mum showed herself cleaning her home, starting with tidying up the kitchen, then picking up her kids’ toys from the living room.
Most of the mess was from things being left laying around, like bags, clothes and toys on the floor.
But Amanda said her daughter sees her clean it up everyday, so it’s not that her kids are learning bad habits like the haters say.
“My daughter sees me cleaning, she wakes up to a clean house every day.
“Now I’m trying to enforce the pick up after yourself thing more,” she added.
But it was Amanda’s laundry room that got the most backlash, with piles and piles of dirty clothes, trolls shamed the mum for not keeping on top of it all.
“Here you have it, another disgusting part of my home so you guys can judge me some more,” she said as she showed it off.
After showing her realistic home, other parents praised Amanda for being so real.
One said: “I clean, constantly, every single day when I’m home. And my house is still messy- 3 kids here!”
A second wrote: “People LOVE making life a competition to try to make others look bad.
“If you’re ‘perfect’ and can keep your home looking like nobody lives in it while working 168 hours/week and raising 25 kids then I’m very happy for you but nobody asked.”
And another said: “Your house is normal. Agreed, teach them to pick up after themselves. My only problem is I’m not very good at it either.”
