Coronation Street star gives birth to third child and shares adorable name
CORONATION Street star Jennie McAlpine confirmed the arrival of her third child and shared her unique name for first time.
The Fiz Dobbs actress, 39, left the ITV soap earlier this year as she headed on maternity leave.
Her character was written out of the soap after she got a job offer she couldn’t refuse in Norwich.
The actress has revealed all about her daughter’s early arrival – five months after she was born.
She shared that her arrival came earlier than expected, which shocked her and her husband of six years Chris Farr.
The mother-of-three told OK magazine: “I’m so aware of how precious this time is and just how quickly it goes. It’s chaos, though. I mean, it was chaos before but now it’s another level!”
Her daughter’s name is Doris and she was born just before midnight on April 4 at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Hospital, weighing 7lbs 11oz.
Jennie reveals the reason behind her baby’s name and teases the patter of more tiny feet in the future.
