I’m totally covered in tattoos – people assume I must not have a job & are always shocked by how much I’ve spent on ink
A TATTED babe is shutting down the haters who imagine no one would hire her because of her inked-up body.
She has a job and sets aside funds from her paycheck each month to get a new tattoo.
Tegan Gray (@teganleighgrey_) responded to a commenter who assumed she was jobless because of how she looked.
“People always get shocked when I tell them how much money I’ve spent on tattoos, because they have this mindset,” she said in the clip, pointing to the comment calling her “unemployed.”
She was covered in black patterned paint from her fingers to her shoulders, as well as her full chest, and revealed that she’s spent well over 10,000 pounds, or around $12,500 on it all.
“A lot of people are like, ‘How do you afford that?’
“And like everyone else, I have a job. My priority per month is to get a tattoo.
“I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, and I’d rather miss a night out to make sure I get a tattoo that month.”
She wanted to end the false perception people have.
“A lot of people think heavy tattoos means no money and no job.
“But we need money to get these tattoos.”
The edgy brunette said her most recent coverage was a stomach tattoo that cost around $1,250.
Viewers were in awe of her body art.
“You look so good,” one person praised.
“Yours are so artistic. Do you ever just sit in front of a mirror and admire it all?” wondered a second, to which Tegan replied that she often does.
