A bootlegger from Mehsana, Gujarat was caught by police when he attempted to transport 114 litres of country liquor on his scooter. The scooter was weighed down by three bulging plastic sacks, raising suspicion. Upon search, 57 two-litre pouches of liquor were found. The estimated value of the confiscated alcohol is Rs 2,280. The bootlegger now faces charges under prohibition laws.
