Flooding caused by an overflowing Brahmaputra river has affected over 15,000 people in Assam's Morigaon district. The floodwaters have submerged several villages, forcing students to use boats to reach school. The Central Water Commission reported that the Brahmaputra River is flowing above the danger level mark.
