The Congress party has criticized the Maharashtra government for allegedly favoring the Adani Group in the Dharavi slum redevelopment project in Mumbai. The opposition party claims that the new tender issued in 2022 was designed to help the Adani Group and exclude the original winner, a Dubai-based firm. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh accused the government of making questionable decisions and contortions to benefit the Adani Group.
