The Delhi Metro has broken its own record for daily passenger journeys, with 69.94 lakh journeys on August 29, surpassing the previous record of 68.16 lakh on August 28. The Red Line accounted for 7,65,059 journeys, Yellow Line - 19,11,239, Blue Line - 14,90,171, and Airport Express Line - 61,041. The previous highest count was 66,18,717 before the pandemic disrupted travel patterns.
