West Side man charged in shooting death of boy, 8, in Garfield Park neighborhood, Chicago police said

Ramon Sumerlin, of the 3100 block of West Flournoy Street was arrested Monday in the 11400 block of South Elizabeth Street and charged in connection with the Aug. 15 shooting death of Jacari Brown at Sumerlin’s residence, police said.
