Man dies after getting botched penis enlargement from a FAKE doctor who advertised his services online
A FAKE surgeon has been jailed for five years after he killed a man following a botched penis enlargement surgery.
Bogus medic Torben K, 46, advertised his illegal “girth enhancing procedures” online despite having no medical credentials.
The restaurant worker, from Germany, then injected silicone oil into his patient’s penis and scrotum.
Shortly after the procedure – carried out at Torben K’s home in Solingen, near Düsseldorf – the patient began experiencing breathing problems.
The 32-year-old died in agony seven months later following sepsis complications.
Judges in Wuppertal District Court were told by the victims sister he had doubts about the procedure, but Torben K convinced him to go ahead.
The victim visited several hospitals following the horror surgery before being placed in a specialist intensive care unit.
His death in February 2020 was ruled as blood poisoning, as well as liver and kidney failure.
High State Prosecutor Wolf-Tilman Baumert told local media: “Unfortunately, the silicone oil ended up in the person’s bloodstream.
“This led to severe health complications and, eventually, to his death.”
During the trial, it emerged the fake medic had carried out the same operation on a second man in March this year.
Torben K refused to reveal the type of silicone oil used in the procedures.
He was jailed on August 28 after being found guilty of causing death by grievous bodily harm.
The verdict is not yet legally binding.
