Egypt grants land to build 3 GW wind farm in southern province

CAIRO, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- Egypt granted on Wednesday an 852-square-kilometer land in the southern province of Sohag for building a wind farm that can produce 3 gigawatts of electricity per day, in an attempt to bolster the country's green energy production.
