Noteworthy: Conroy set two Taft football records and tied a state record in the Toreadors’ 78-41 win over Grant. He completed 20 of 25 passes for 535 yards and nine touchdowns to set Taft records for passing yards and passing touchdowns in a game. He tied for third in state history for passing touchdowns in a game. Taft receiver Lior Lesham caught seven of Conroy’s passes for touchdowns and had a total of 10 receptions for 354 yards.
