Amazon has launched a shelf monitoring solution in India that uses machine learning to ensure the quality of fresh produce sold on its platform. The system uses computer vision models and Wi-Fi-enabled cameras to detect defects in fruits and vegetables. It currently supports manual monitoring through a mobile app, where operators can submit images of produce crates for assessment.
