Production starts at Shenzi North

Oil and gas major Woodside has started production at the Shenzi North project in the deep-water US Gulf of Mexico.

Shenzi North is a two-well subsea tieback that takes advantage of the existing Shenzi infrastructure to increase production capacity of the asset. The Shenzi platform produces both oil and gas with a production capacity of 100 000 barrels a day and 50-million cubic standard feet per day.
