Apple's iPhone 12 model has been certified by international bodies as compliant with global radiation standards, after a French watchdog ordered the company to stop selling the handset due to breaching European exposure limits. The French watchdog, ANFR, claimed that the phone's Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) exceeded the legal limit.
