Over 6,300 petrol pumps in Rajasthan were closed for eight hours on Wednesday as part of a strike by operators protesting against high VAT on diesel and petrol. The strike will continue on Thursday as well. The Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers' Association called the strike, demanding a reduction in VAT.
