Man Utd confirm 25-man Premier League squad for season as club make decision on Antony and Jadon Sancho
MANCHESTER UNITED have revealed who is in their 25-man Premier League squad.
Both Jadon Sancho and Antony have been included by manager Erik ten Hag.
This comes amid the former Borussia Dortmund winger’s public fall out with the Dutchman.
Sancho accused his boss of making him a “scapegoat” in a bombshell social media post that has since been deleted.
He made the comments after being dropped from the Man Utd squad for their trip to Arsenal prior to the international break due to his “performances in training”.
As for Antony, he will not return to the club “until further notice” amid abuse allegations from three women.
The Brazil star denies any wrongdoing.
New £72million striker Rasmus Hojlund does not feature in Man Utd’s 25-man squad as he does not have to be listed as he is under the age of 21.
Alejandro Garnacho finds himself in the same position.
Hannibal Mejbri, Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo will all push for starts this season – all are under the age threshold.
Other signings Mason Mount, Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir and Jonny Evans, Sofyan Amrabat and Sergio Reguilon all make the cut.
Fans have all been calling for Facundo Pellistri to get more first-team chances and he is on the list.
There is also the surprise inclusion of Donny van de Beek after he failed to secure a transfer away from the club over the summer.
The Premier League squad cannot change until the end of the January window.
A maximum of 17 non-homegrown players can be registered in the team.
