Kelly Buchberger was a ninth-round pick (188th overall) of the Edmonton Oilers at the 1985 NHL Draft. He went on to play 17 seasons in the league, won two Stanley Cups with Edmonton (1987 and 1990) and became the ninth captain in Oilers history in 1995.
