Our observers on a recent Channel swim has brought to our attention that they are being criticised on social media  for allowing a tech suit costume.

The costume referred to was made of a textile material.

It had no buoyancy or heat retention.

It did not extend beyond the knee or off the shoulder.

It was approved in advance as being within our rules by the committee of the CS&PF.
