Teenager who raped an eight-year-old girl is back on the streets after less than TWO years behind bars
A TEENAGER who raped an eight-year-old girl is back on the streets after serving less than two years behind bars.
Sadistic Jack Dalziel, 19, tied the child up and repeatedly attacked her then threatened to “kill and bury” her if she revealed the abuse.
The sicko also sexually assaulted three boys aged between four and ten during a two-year reign of terror in Motherwell.
But victims and parents have been left outraged after Dalziel was freed under automatic early release guidelines midway through his three-and-a-half-year sentence.
The mum of the girl, now 12, and her abused son, now eight, said: “I’m gutted.
“Three-and-a-half years wasn’t long enough in the first place and he’s only done half.
“My daughter has given up on life.
“She hasn’t been out of the house since this happened.
“We can barely get her to go to school.
“They both had meltdowns a few weeks ago.
“My daughter was holding her head screaming, ‘he’s ruined my life’.
“My son was shouting, ‘I remember what that dirty boy did to me, why me?’.”
A sickened local added: “He got a short sentence because of this ridiculous belief that kids’ brains haven’t fully formed and he can improve.”
We unmasked the predator last year when he turned 18.
Scottish Tory shadow justice secretary Russell Findlay said it was “vital” the fiend was heavily monitored.
