The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has launched a nationwide surveillance study on milk and milk products to combat adulteration. The study will run until October and cover 766 districts, with over 10,000 samples collected. The FSSAI aims to submit its report to the health ministry by December. The survey will assess compliance with food safety regulations and identify hotspots for adulteration.
