Asda shoppers are only just realising easy trick to get extra discounts on grocery shops
HAPPY shoppers have just discovered an easy trick to get extra discounts on their food shops.
Asda customers were thrilled to see reduced signs in their checkout baskets when browsing online – Here’s how you can get the same.
Savvy bargain hunters noticed vouchers displaying on their Asda Rewards App.
Up to £3.00 off on drinks, lunchbox snacks and breakfast essentials are on offer.
Big brand names such as J20s, Rice Krispies Squares and Krave cereal were all on sale with the app.
Rekorderlig cider was also slashed in price, alongside Hellmann’s vegan mayo and Kenco coffee.
But, shoppers will need to act fast, as there are only 20 days left to pocket these savings.
The tip was posted on Facebook within the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group.
How does the Asda Rewards app work?
The Asda Rewards scheme can be downloaded on to any iPhone or Android via the Apple App store or Google Play.
It works like most other supermarket loyalty schemes except customers earn “Asda Pounds” instead of points when shopping in-store or online and completing certain tasks.
Any pounds you earn go into a pot which you can turn into vouchers and get money off future purchases.
Not just that, you can get boosts on your points when buying certain products – known as “Star” products.
These are updated on the app on a regular basis.
To activate the loyalty scheme you just have to scan your app at the till. The pounds are then added to your account.
This comes as bargain hunting shoppers were also excited to see Asda’s air fryer scanning for a reduced price.
Customers have gone wild for the money-saving kitchen gadget for just £12.50.
This impressive cooking appliance usually retails for £25, but can now be picked up for a more affordable price.
