Christine McGuinness reveals terrifying cancer scare after finding a lump in her breast
CHRISTINE McGuinness has revealed she found a lump in her breast in a terrifying cancer scare.
The model and TV personality, 35, has opened up about the scary experience which happened before she had children.
Christine, who is separated from Paddy McGuinness, was rushed in for an emergency appointment after discovering a lump.
She recalled: “Before I had children, I found a lump one day.
“Women in my family have had breast cancer. Because of that history, I got seen quite quickly.
“I had a full check-up and I had scans.”
Mum-of-three Christine revealed to the Daily Star that thankfully her lump turned out not to be cancerous.
She added that now always checks herself in the shower as a precaution and has urged every woman to do so.
Christine said: “If you see any changes or you are unsure, you’ve got to go and get it checked out.”
Her mum and three aunts have been affected by cancer.
Meanwhile, Christine looked stunning as she wore a plunging princess-style gown in baby pink as she attended the Pink London Gala dinner on Wednesday.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire star accessorised with sky-high pink stiletto heels and dangling earrings.
The glam mum – who split with husband Paddy last year – piled her blonde hair on her head in an up-do and made sure her make-up was spot-on.
She posed for images on the red carpet at the glitzy shindig held at London’s Bankside, in aid of the Pink Ribbon Foundation.
