If you're eligible for a small-business credit card and want to earn a solid rate of American Express points or cash back on your purchases, these two new credit card welcome offers could be right up your alley.

The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express - Product Name Only and The American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card - Product Name Only are two great no-annual-fee business cards, but they usually don't come with welcome offers for new cardholders.

The cards are currently featuring intro bonuses of points or cash back, respectively, but we don't know how long these offers will be sticking around.

Blue Business Plus Card welcome bonus details

The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express - Product Name Only is currently offering a welcome bonus of The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express - Intro Bonus. Compared to its typical intro offer of, well, nothing, this is something to get excited about.

The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express - Product Name Only is a great option if you want to earn Amex Membership Rewards points on your business purchases. It earns 2 points per dollar on up to $50,000 spent each calendar year, then 1 point per dollar. 

The lack of bonus categories to keep track of makes this a great business rewards card for anyone who likes to keep things simple. Since we peg the valuation of Amex points at 1.8 cents apiece, the 2x earning rate amounts to a 3.6% return on your spending (up until you hit the $50,000 limit per calendar year, after which you'll earn 1 point per dollar spent — equal to a 1.8% return on spending, which still isn't shabby).

Using our same Amex point valuation, the current welcome bonus is worth The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express - Featured Reward Value when you use points to book travel through Amex transfer partners.

There aren't many bells and whistles on this card beyond the solid points-earning rate. But it does offer an intro APR of The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express - Intro APR, followed by The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express - Regular APR APR.

Blue Business Cash Card welcome bonus details

The American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card - Product Name Only is the cash-back counterpart of The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express - Product Name Only, earning 2% cash back on up to $50,000 in purchases each calendar year (then 1% back).

This card usually doesn't come with a welcome bonus, but you can currently earn a The American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card - Intro Bonus. That's worth slightly less than the potential value you can get from the current intro bonus on The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express - Product Name Only, but if you prefer the simplicity of cash back over the work of redeeming and maximizing points, this could be the way to go.
