Rapids D Daniel Chacon undergoes ACL surgery

Colorado Rapids defender Daniel Chacon had successful surgery on his right knee to repair an anterior cruciate ligament tear, the club announced Thursday.
Injured while on loan with Liga Deportiva Alajuelense, Chacon will conduct his rehab -- expected to last nine months -- with Alajuelense in Costa Rica.
Chacon, 22, was loaned to Alajuelense in July after becoming the f
