Chris Denning dead at 81 – Paedo Radio 1 DJ who was friends with Jimmy Savile dies after being jailed for sex offences
A FORMER Radio 1 DJ and depraved paedo pal of Jimmy Savile has died in prison.
Chris Denning admitted 21 child sex offences committed between 1969 and 1986 on 11 boys aged between eight and 15.
The prolific paedo was caged for 13 years in 2016 for the “utterly depraved” sex assaults.
It has now emerged Denning died in prison in June 2022 while serving his sentence at HMP Bedford.
The 81-year-old’s death in jail has only just been reported following a prison watchdog report into his care.
