Love Island’s Scott will return to show a FOURTH time for All Stars series, claim fans
LOVE Island fans suspect that Scott Van-der-Sluis will be making a FOURTH appearance on the franchise next year.
The footballer made the lineup for Love Island Games next month but there are rumours that he will also be on the All Stars spin-off.
He first starred on ITV’s summer installment of the show before he was booted off in July alongside Abi Moores.
Then just months after leaving the villa he joined Love Island USA, but didn’t last long.
He was dumped from the show just days after entering the series.
But Scott is clearly no quitter and was announced to be joining the likes of Megan Barton-Hanson, Jack Fincham and Liberty Poole on Love Island Games.
If that wasn’t enough Love Island for the goalie, fans suspect that he could also be joining Love Island All Stars in January.
“Love Island Games might NOT be the end of Scott’s Love Island World Tour as it is now being rumoured that Love Island Producers are CONSIDERING putting Scott on Love Island All Stars taking place at South Africa in January,” one wrote on X.
Another added: “Catherine has already said she would consider LI All Stars so it won’t surprise me if Scott does the same and restart the saga of these two again,
“It would increase interest and rating for the show. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they add Johnnie to the mix as well.”
A third speculated: “Apparently Scott has signed up for Allstars as well.. at this point he 100% percent deserves to go on all stars.. most prolific Islander out there.”
But some were concerned that he was being “used” by the show: “Scott some are saying you are going to all stars. Don’t let the producers use you.”
Scott made fun of himself on X, sharing the Love Island Games line up with the caption: “F*** sake not Scott again we’re tired,” with a yawn emoji.
One fan asked him: “But ain’t you ashamed yet?” to which Scott replied: “No”
This comes as ITV is in crisis with the various spin-off shows battling over which contestants they want.
US streaming service Peacock, who will be airing Love Island Games, has pinched some of the popular islanders from the UK series, who ITV had been eyeing up for Love Island All Stars.
Megan Barton-Hanson, Curtis Pritchard and Liberty Poole had been considered must-haves for ITV’s ten-year anniversary special, which is set to be filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, in January.
Instead they are currently busy filming for America’s rival programme in Fiji.
Love Island Games even has series presenter Maya Jama, voiceover star Iain Stirling and show legend Maura Higgins as hosts.
A TV source said: “It’s all turned into a love triangle of epic proportions with ITV’s own legends caught between two huge programmes.
“None of the Islanders are bound to appear on ITV’s All Stars so, of course, were thrilled to take up the booking for Peacock’s Games.
“But it is hard to see the same names appearing on Games and then also All Stars because they both require lengthy time away from home.
“Games has managed to book the cream of the crop in Megan and Liberty especially.
“It’s hard to see how Games won’t be stealing All Stars’ thunder.”
