Selma Blair Just Launched a Gorgeous Adaptable Clothing Line & Everything's Under $100

Maybe it was her cool, color-blocked gown from the 2004 CFDA Awards ceremony or her lacy black-and-white number from the 2005 Mont Blanc Women’s Jewelry Collection Launch. Whatever iconic look you associate with actress Selma Blair, there’s a good chance it was created by her good friend, designer Isaac Mizrahi — and now the longtime friends have teamed up to launch a brand new clothing collection. Isaac Mizrahi Live! x Selma Blair line with QVC is not your average fashion line — it’s a universally designed clothing line inspired by Blair, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018 and has since become an outspoken advocate for people with disabilities.

Now, Blair is also the QVC Brand Ambassador for Accessibility. She’s her same stylish self, just with a few adjustments to her wardrobe and a whole new perspective on dressing well. “Fashion has always been my love language and this collection is a celebration of color and thoughtful design pieces that I am excited to share,” Blair said about the Isaac Mizrahi Live! x Selma Blair line with QVC. She’s also thrilled to be working with someone she shares a personal history with. “Isaac is a longtime friend and favorite designer of mine, with equal parts style and personality — beloved by the women he has so beautifully dressed. So, when I decided I wanted to create chicer more accessible wardrobe options, I knew I had to do it with Isaac,” she added. 

So what does universal design mean when it comes to clothes? In a nutshell, it means the clothes are accessible to people with disabilities, adapting to their different needs without compromising the style or integrity of the garments. To make sure their collection lived up to this promise, Blair, Mizrahi and their team worked closely with the disability community throughout the process of designing and fitting each item. The Isaac Mizrahi Live! x Selma Blair line with QVC features shirts, sweaters, jackets, pants (including wheelchair fit designs), and accessories that have accessible features like inclusive sizing (XXS-3X), easy-open neck lines, hook-and-loop closures, side-seam openings and more “for wherever we are in the arc of life.”
