LifeStar called to wrong-way crash on I-84 in Farmington
A wrong-way crash on Interstate 84 in Farmington led to at least one person being airlifted to a hospital Sunday afternoon, police said.
Troopers responded to a crash involving a wrong way driver near Exit 39 on I-84 about 2:18 p.m., according to Connecticut State Police.
Injuries were reported, but the number of people injured and the extent of their injuries was not immediately known. LifeStar was requested to the scene to bring at least one person to a hospital, police said.
The left lane was still closed on I-84 west as of about 4:30 p.m., police said.
