The Supreme Court has issued a notice to former ICICI Bank CEO Chanda Kochhar and her husband Deepak Kochhar regarding a plea challenging their interim bail in a loan fraud case. The plea filed by the CBI questions the assumption made by the Bombay High Court that the offense is punishable with a maximum of seven years imprisonment. The bench has given the Kochhars three weeks to respond.
