Countdown’s Rachel Riley dazzles in figure-hugging black dress at star-studded awards bash
COUNTDOWN star Rachel Riley absolutely dazzled while wearing a figure hugging black dress at the 2023 Women of the Year Lunch and Awards.
Rachel, 37, was one of many stars to attend the renowned awards bash at the Royal Lancaster London hotel earlier today.
She looked absolutely radiant as she posed in a figure-hugging black dress embellished with sparkles around the neck and chest.
The Countdown star paired the dress with matching black and silver heels and a black clutch.
Rachel let the outfit speak for itself, opting for minimal glowy makeup and wore her blonde hair loose with a few curls around her face.
She also wore minimal jewellery beside her dainty wedding band and silver necklace.
Some of the women in attendance at the star-studded event alongside Rachel included Lorraine Kelly, Susanna Reid, and Emma Bunton.
The Women of the Year foundation supports disadvantaged women in the UK and abroad by offering financial aid to support and aid them in realising their biggest dreams and ambitions.
Rachel’s appearance at the awards comes a month after the Countdown star publicly spoke out against Manchester United football player Antony.
The long-time Man Utd fan has been using her platform to advocate for domestic survivors since receiving over 500 terrifying death threats and violent messages from a man who has since been sectioned and given a five-year restraining order.
Recently, she supported Antony’s ex Gabriela Cavallin, who led calls for the player to be dropped from the squad in an exclusive interview with The Sun on Sunday.
On X, formerly Twitter, Rachel called for the club to stop “green-lighting abuse.”
“Is anyone doing any due diligence on these players? Heinous stuff described in these accusations,” she said before adding, “domestic abuse experts need to be involved in the club’s processes.”
Antony strongly denies all allegations against him but is currently being investigated by cops in both Manchester and Sao Paulo – and was axed from the Brazil national team for their World Cup qualifiers last month.
