The Indian government will continue to allocate production-linked incentives (PLI) for advanced chemical cell (ACC) batteries in batches of 5 GWh, despite requests for a reduction in the minimum bid size. The incentives, worth ₹7,240 crore, are part of a larger ₹18,100 crore PLI scheme for the sector.
