Help Archie! (3 replies)
Archie comes from a footy mad family and is around a week away from his 18th operation in his short life. He was born prematurely and has cerebral palsy amongst other issues but is such a little star!
After his operation to stretch his tendons in his leg he's going to be unable to walk for a lengthy time period and in order to be able to carry on as normally as possible will need an electric wheelchair in order to retain his independence and go to school still.
His mum and dad have been told a week before his operation there is a six month wait for the assessment for a wheelchair and he doesn't have enough mobility in his left arm to use a manual one. Their only option is to now self fund one.
His dad is a good friend of mine who volunteers at our football club as our U13s manager and vice chairman. Both his dad and Archie are Blues through and through and get down to matches as often as possible.
I know there is always some funding request going around so if anyone can donate anything to help Archie get to his £1000 target that would be very much appreciated!!
