Fairfield coach Jay Young steps down

Fairfield men's basketball coach Jay Young stepped down Monday, exactly three weeks before the start of the 2023-24 season.

Assistant coach Chris Casey was named interim coach effective immediately. The Stags open at Boston College on Nov. 6.
