A 10-team NFL parlay wins $200,000 after Cowboys cover on MNF
Week 6 was one of the wilder slates of the NFL season so far, with the Philadelphia Eagles losing to the New York Jets (no, that’s not a typo) and the Cleveland Browns beating the San Francisco 49ers outright with PJ Walker starting at quarterback (also, not a typo).
But one bettor in Las Vegas managed to overcome those strange outcomes, and, in fact, bet on both the Browns and Jets to cover those games … along with eight other correct selections on a $250, 10-team parlay with 10 NFL spreads.
The bettor headed into Monday Night Football only needing the Dallas Cowboys to cover a 1.5-point spread against the Los Angeles Chargers to win a whopping $199,500.
Public bettors were with him, as 61 percent of the bets at BetMGM sportsbooks and 58 percent of the wagers at DraftKings were on Dallas to cover the 1.5-point spread.
One bettor at @stationcasinos is a Dallas Cowboys #MNF cover away from winning nearly $200,000 from a $250 10-team NFL parlay.

WAS +1.5
MIN -3.5
CLE +9.5
HOU +1.5
JAX -3.5
DET -3.5
LV Raiders -2.5
LA Rams -7.5
NYJ +6.5
Cowboys -1.5— Ben Fawkes (@BFawkes22) October 16, 2023
The bettor had some fairly comfortable cashes on Sunday including the Jaguars -3.5, Lions -3.5 and Rams -7.5. However, he also had Raiders -2.5 in his parlay, which means that he needed a late Mac Jones safety to cover the 2.5-point spread. Talk about a sweat.
On Monday night, the Cowboys ended up hanging on for a 20-17 victory, in what was an extremely close game throughout. The bettor likely could only exhale when Stephon Gilmore intercepted Justin Herbert with 1:22 left in the game.
We certainly wouldn’t recommend betting 10-team parlays too often, but this one was the hit of a lifetime for one Vegas bettor.
