Trump attacks 'sleazebag attorney Michael Cohen' and Fox News after chaotic day at trial
Donald Trump on Wednesday lashed out against his former attorney and "fixer," after a chaotic day of a trial in his civil fraud case.
The former president left the courtroom early on Wednesday after he was found to be "not credible" by the judge in the case, who imposed a $10,000 fine on Trump for purportedly violating the court's gag order for the second time. Michael Cohen appeared on the witness stand, after which he called Trump a "defeated man."
Trump didn't take that lying down.
POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?
On his own social network, Truth Social, Trump insulted Cohen and said the case should be dropped.
"SleazeBag Attorney Michael Cohen, New York State’s Primary Witness, ADMITTED TODAY THAT PRESIDENT TRUMP NEVER TOLD HIM TO INCREASE ASSET VALUES," Trump said. "He also got caught lying on numerous occasions. He was totally discredited, like a Perry Mason moment. The A.G. Witch Hunt should be dropped, immediately!"
Trump added in a minor barb against Fox News, a conservative network with which he has been feuding recently.
"FoxNews coverage was so inaccurate. Sad!" the ex-president wrote.
