Mystery as woman found dead at five-star hotel and a man is rushed to the hospital
A WOMAN in her 30s has been found dead at a luxury hotel in Western Australia.
The woman’s body was found at the Crowns Towers hotel in south-east Perth on Monday afternoon.
It is unclear how she died.
A 42-year-old man was rushed from the scene at Burswood to Royal Perth Hospital under priority conditions.
Homicide Squad detectives have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the woman’s death, according to WAtoday.
It is understood authorities sent “a number of resources” to Crown Towers, which is located within Perth’s Crown Casino complex, after an alert was raised about 11am.
A spokesperson for the hotel confirmed police responded to a situation on Monday, 7News reports.
They said: “Our team are assisting WA Police with their investigation, and we are supporting our team members.”
The $650million five-star hotel claims to set “the benchmark for luxury hotels” with “unparalleled city views”.
Stays at Crown Towers can cost up to $3,399 (£1,800) a night.
The hotel as previously been touted as Perth’s first “six-star” hotel.
