Retail Roundup: Boca’s Town Center to get 3 new restaurants; Mark Cuban-backed polo shirt store opens
Boca Raton is welcoming a Mark Cuban-backed polo shirt store, three new restaurants, and a jewelry store to the city.
Collars & Co., founded by entrepreneur Justin Baer, received financial backing from Cuban and British retail mogul Peter Jones after he appeared on the ABC show “Shark Tank” last November, according to a news release.
He founded the company two years ago after finding his Manhattan office uniform — a button-down shirt and sweater — “extremely uncomfortable,” the release said.
Baer decided to create his own uniform: a short-sleeve polo shirt with a very firm collar. He had 300 made and sold them all by advertising on TikTok. Two years later, with a widened array of clothing for men and women, his company is bringing in millions of dollars, according to the release.
The Boca Raton store, now open at 600 Glades Road, is Baer’s second brick-and-mortar store. The first opened this summer in Chicago.
He selected South Florida because it’s one of the company’s top markets, where men are allowed to wear polo shirts at work, at golf and at dinner.

Three new restaurants coming to Town Center at Boca Raton
Three new restaurants — Limani Grille, Madame Tang’s and Maggie McFly’s — will open at Town Center at Boca Raton in the coming months.
Limani Grille is a Mediterranean seafood restaurant focusing on traditional Greek specialties, according to a news release from Simon, owner of the popular upscale mall.
The release promises that “each delicious dish is expertly prepared in the traditional, unique Mediterranean cooking methods, using only the freshest of ingredients to achieve bold flavors while the seafood is flown straight from the coastal shores.”
Madame Tang’s will be a new Chinese restaurant offering “a fresh take on Asian classics, with an expansive and vibrant bar scene.” Created by chefs Ralph Pagano and Jay Shirodkar, the restaurant promises to combine “Las Vegas opulence with Shanghai elegance” with an “extraordinary fusion of Asian flavors.”
Both restaurants are scheduled to open next spring.
Maggie McFly’s, serving American-style sandwiches, seafood, steaks, pizza and seafood as well as some international dishes, is scheduled to open before the end of the year. It will be the ninth U.S. location.
It also will feature an extensive menu of cocktails and draft beers, made with locally-sourced ingredients.

gorjana offers a wide assortment of pieces ranging from necklaces and earrings to bracelets and rings, as well as fine jewelry. The company sells pieces in both gold plating and solid gold, with materials that include diamonds, opals, sapphires, emeralds, turquoise and more.
Two additional gorjana stores are scheduled to open in Miami’s Brickell City Centre and the Design District.
