Crocs is embracing the holiday spirit this year with its latest shoe collaboration.
Ahead of the upcoming winter season, the FNAA-winning brand has dropped its newest Classic clogs, made in collaboration with “Elf.” The $75 style — available in women’s and men’s sizes — pays tribute to the holiday comedy film’s main protagonist, Buddy (portrayed by Will Ferrell), thanks to its deep green foam uppers and bright yellow soles.
The same colors are seen in Ferrell’s titular character’s costume throughout the movie, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
For a whimsical touch, the pair’s adjustable straps are cast in a black palette with shiny gold buckles to reference Buddy’s signature belt. Soft, fuzzy white lining pads the shoe’s collars and interior, finishing the clogs with a comfy, cozy spin for the cooler months.
An added thematic accent can be seen in the shoe’s accompanying “Elf”-themed rubber Jibbitz charms. The set features accents shaped like Buddy’s signature pointed green hat and the “Elf” film logo. Rounding out the selection are two graphic charms, featuring lettering proclaiming “Omg! Santa! I know him!” and “Does someone need a hug?” — which are two of Ferrell’s most-quoted lines from the movie.
Crocs’ collaboration with “Elf” marks the latest for the footwear brand this year. Previously, the label has launched co-branded collections, product drops and limited-edition shoes with a wide range of fashion brands, celebrities and pop culture media, including “Demon Slayer,” Levi’s, Lisa Frank and Aetna.
In other Crocs news, Crocs has also introduced a Retail Takeback Pilot Program this fall, where specific retail locations will accept donations of pre-worn Crocs shoes to combat fashion waste.
