Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Shows Off Her Wild Side When the Zoo Closes & The Photos Are Too Cute
Everyone has their own after-work routine, even Bindi Irwin’s 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter Grace Warrior. The toddler apparently runs wild after the Australia Zoo closes for the day (we would too, if given the opportunity!), and the cute photos just radiate pure happiness.
Bindi’s mom Terri Irwin (aka Grace’s “Bunny”) shared photos of her granddaughter on Instagram. Grace wears a long-sleeved white shirt, rolled-up blue jeans, and pink tennis shoes. Her adorable brown hair is pulled away from her face in a half-up ponytail, and she has the biggest toothy grin as she runs down the empty road surrounded by gorgeous trees on either side of her. The toddler even holds a rock in one hand, just totally living life and enjoying every minute.
Grace continues running in the next photo, smiling with all of her pretty white teeth showing. The sun is starting to set in the background, painting the sky a rainbow of colors, and we can’t help but smile too. The unbridled joy in these photos is contagious!
“Grace Warrior after 5pm, when @australiazoo is closed. It’s fun to run!” Terri captioned the post.
One person commented, “How very sweet, and a very lucky girl having that beautiful zoo as her backyard ❤️.”
“Little ray of sunshine ????????????,” another said. Someone else wrote, “She is so beautiful ???? Look at her happy face ❤️.”
Grace enjoys that 5 p.m. freedom as much as we do, but she also loves helping out at the zoo. Last month, Bindi shared a photo of Grace helping out with “morning checks” at the zoo, where she walked around making sure all the animals were under control. In another video, Grace joined her mom for the morning staff meeting, updating everyone on koalas. She couldn’t be cuter!
In an April 2023 interview with Hello! Magazine, Bindi shared how Grace also has a fondness for all the animals.
“My hope is that Grace has empathy for all species, and a genuine appreciation for our Earth,” the Australia Zoo conservationist said. “I have watched her develop a gentleness towards animals. It makes my heart happy seeing her admire an ant, gently pat a koala or try to feed a tiny tortoise with her spoon. She’s such a strong girl with a real softness towards the natural world.”
These celebrity kids want to follow in their parents’ footsteps.
