DAILY NEWS FOOTBALL TOP 10

1. Sierra Canyon (10-0 overall, 5-0 Mission League)

The Trailblazers capped up an undefeated regular season when they beat Chaminade 44-6 on Friday night. Cole Crawford, Kwazi Kilmer and DJ Xavier Jordan hauled in touchdown passes from quarterback Wyatt Becker.

2. Oaks Christian (8-2 overall, 5-0 Marmonte League)

Oaks held St. Bonaventure to its lowest scoring total of the season on Friday. Noah Laberge made field goals of 29 and 34 yards and Chase Farrell caught three passes for 47 yards and the Lions’ only touchdown. Evan Fanner recorded 10 tackles.

3. Valencia (9-1 overall, 6-0 Foothill League)

Gabe Magdaleno rushed for two touchdowns as the Vikings wrapped up an undefeated Foothill League season. Tony Testa had a team-high 11 tackles and one tackle for loss and Nick Seymour had one interception returned for 24 yards.

4. Chaminade (5-5 overall, 2-3 Mission League)

The Eagles’ final league contest was their toughest one in Sierra Canyon. Ryon Sayeri made a 47-yard field goal then a 50-yard field goal for Chaminade’s only points.

5. Moorpark (9-1 overall, 5-1 Canyon League)

Luke Cochran scored five touchdowns and ran for 289 yards as Moorpark beat Agoura on Friday for a share of the Canyon League title for the first time in program history. Nicholas Andrade recorded five sacks and seven tackles for loss.

6. St. Francis (8-2 overall, 4-1 Angelus League)

The Golden Knights share the Angelus League title with Loyola after falling to St. Paul 37-32 on Friday night.

7. Thousand Oaks (7-3 overall, 5-1 Canyon League)

Thousand Oaks finished the regular season in a three-way tie for the Canyon League title.

8. Newbury Park (7-3 overall, 5-1 Canyon League)

Jaxon McKinney, Belan Betancourt and quarterback Brady Smigiel each ran for touchdowns in Newbury Park’s 35-6 win over Camarillo. Shane Rosenthal had an interception as well as five catches for 82 yards. The Panthers tied for the league title with the win.

9. Agoura (7-3 overall, 3-3 Canyon League)

The Chargers earned an at-large playoff berth despite falling to Moorpark. Harrison Novak threw for two touchdowns and ran for another TD and Brady Dieffenbach had two touchdown receptions. Zeke Bussiere logged 11 tackles.

10. Notre Dame (5-5 overall, 1-4 Mission League)

Steele Pizzella threw for 244 yards and a touchdown in the Knights’ in what became a season-ending loss to Bishop Amat. Ehimen Oyamendan led the defense with 10 tackles and a pass deflection and also caught three passes for 53 yards.
