GBBO thrown into chaos as Noel Fielding BREAKS the set after throwing a lemon in the tent
THE Great British Bake Off tent spiraled into chaos after Noel Fielding smashed the set up with a lemon.
The charismatic presenter got over-excited after Saku played keepie uppies with the fruit.
Wanting to get involved in the fun, Noel picked a lemon up and asked Saku: “Do you reckon I could hit one of those saucepans with this lemon?”
Panicked, Saku shook her hand and said: “no!” but it was too late.
Noel launched the lemon across the tent, causing an almightly smash.
“S***!” Saku gasped, before hiding behind her workstation, in case she was blamed for the bizarre incident.
“It’s fine, nothing broke,” the comedian assured the panicked bakers, before the camera panned over to some shattered glass.
Dan laughed: “Never a dull moment in here, is there?” as he whisked.
Fans found Noel’s outburst hilarious, with one writing: “Noel is an actual menace”.
“I live for Noel’s chaotic energy. I wish I were more like him,” another added.
“STOP ITTTTT Noel honestly cracks me up!” a third wrote.
Another shared a meme of Principal Skinner from The Simpsons climbing out a window, tweeting: “Saky when Noel launched that lemon”.
Although not everyone found the funny side.
One wrote: “Noel’s a bit of a liability encouraging contestants to throw things around and breaking things in a competition kitchen health & Safety not a very good watch here I’d be well pissed off if I were a contestant not funny not clever just irritating !!”
Dana was the sixth contestant to the leave the show during Botanical week.
She was eliminated after coming in the bottom two of the technical challenge.
As always, Dana left the show on a positive note and said: “Feel like I’ve smashed it week six, I’m just trying to think of all the fun I’ve had in the last six weeks.”
Josh received star baker with his impressive bakes in all three challenges.
He was also second place in the Technical challenge, with first place going to Cristy.
