November 4, 2023 – Sankey Viaduct Volunteer Working Party (St Helens)
Sankey Canal Restoration Society will be having a work party at Sankey Viaduct (Nine Arches), Earlestown, St. Helens where work will involve Vegetation & Sapling Clearance from the line of the canal.
Date: Saturday 4th November
Time: starting at 10.00am
Location: meet in the Car Park by the Newton Common Lock Post Code, WA12 9NZ

Tasks will involve tree and towpath vegetation clearance along the line of the canal.
If staying all day don’t forget to bring a packed lunch and something to drink. Wear old cloths and stout footwear (steel toe caps if you have them) and waterproof clothing in case of wet weather. Gloves will be provided. (Or bring your own). All tools will be provided, but if you prefer you can bring your own.
