Schoolboy airlifted to hospital after ‘concern for welfare’ at Marlborough Science Academy

A SCHOOL boy has been airlifted to hospital after “concern for welfare” calls at Marlborough Science Academy.

Cops raced to the scene in St Albans, Herts., with emergency services after reports were called in at 8.40am today.

An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance all arrived before the boy was airlifted to a London hospital.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police confirmed: “Police were called at 8.40am today (1 November), to report a concern for welfare of a boy at the Marlborough Science Academy on Watling Street, St Albans. Officers along with the ambulance service attended the scene.

“The boy has been taken to hospital.”
