Bills would allow striking workers to claim jobless benefits

COLUMBUS — Fresh off tentative deals with the Detroit Three automakers that ended a six-week walkout, Ohio Democratic lawmakers this week proposed allowing striking workers to collect unemployment compensation for their time on the picket line.
