Livid EastEnders fans demand ‘pathetic’ storyline is axed as Keanu sinks to new low – fuming ‘I’m over it!’
LIVID EastEnders fans have demanded a ‘pathetic’ storyline is axed after Keanu sunk to a new low – fuming ‘I’m over it!’
Tonight’s episode saw Keanu – played by Danny Walters – put his plan to take son Albie abroad into action.
Keanu has been pretending to be in love with on-off partner Sharon again in a bid to stop her taking their little boy to Abu Dhabi where she was offered a job.
Keanu offered to take their son to a children’s birthday party just off the Square while Sharon went to a meeting, but instead, he packed up a hire car and placed Albie in the back.
After saying an emotional goodbye to mum Karen, Keanu attempted to leave Walford, but Albie started crying for his mum.
Keanu tried to placate his little boy but in the end, he called his own mum to see if she would come back and help calm him down so they could leave.
But Karen didn’t have good news for him when she arrived, revealing that Sharon had sussed something was up after discovering Albie hadn’t been at the birthday party, and she had called the police.
Heading to the Square, Keanu spotted her with the police before she clocked him and launched herself at him, demanding to know where her little boy was and accusing him of plotting to leave the country.
Thinking fast, Keanu said: “I haven’t taken him ok? We went to the park instead, I thought he’d be back here, that’s why I came.”
He continued: “He was playing, I went for a sec to get an ice cream and he kept going on, and on about an ice cream, and when I turned back….he was gone.”
As Keanu’s lie about their son being abducted lead to tonight’s ‘duff duff’, EastEnders fans took to social media to discuss how low the character has sunk in the storyline.
One wrote: “This Keanu, Sharon storyline is pathetic. I’m over it!”
They added in a second tweet: “Keanu is pathetic. You’re scared of your own son? Why’ve you called your mum??? Such a pratt.”
Another viewer tweeted: “And the Biggest Plank Award goes to… Keanu Taylor!”
Meanwhile a fourth shared: “i don’t want to see keanu on my screen again. such an annoying character.”
