Emmerdale spoilers drops huge hint about shock new affair storyline

THERE’S another betrayal in the works as couples rarely get the smooth sailing life they hope for in the Dales.

Emmerdale teases an upcoming affair between two unexpected residents next week. How will it play out?

Villagers were shocked earlier this year when Gabby Thomas’ wedding to Nicky Milligan turned into a nightmare after the groom revealed he was actually gay.

But this wasn’t the only secret the hunk played by Lewis Cope was instructed to keep to himself.

In a devastating twist for his eager bride, Nicky admitted he had been told to seduce her to get to the Tate family fortune.

At the helm of this devious plan was none other than his father Caleb Milligan (portrayed by Will Ash), who was revealed as Frank Tate’s illegitimate son.

Pushed into the spotlight by his own son, Caleb lost all support from villagers, including the one he could have received from his then-girlfriend Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi).

However, in scenes airing next week on ITV, Caleb is happy to mention that he has finally worked things out with the wedding planner after months of discord.

But nothing is ever as it seems in the eponymous village and another woman may have already caught his eye.

Next week, Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) is keen to spend time with his uncle Caleb but his wife Tracy (Amy Walsh) makes it abundantly clear that she’d prefer a night in and he accepts.

Meanwhile, Caleb is preoccupied and spends time pursuing his new goal.

Will he get what he wants?

What is he exactly chasing? And could it be Tracy?

Actress Amy Walsh made a surprise return to the Yorkshire-based drama following her maternity leave.

Her on-screen alter ego was immediately thrown into an explosive storyline as Tracy finally agreed to tie the knot with Nate.

The loved-up couple were adamant on having a secret ceremony in Hotten but their plans were rumbled by a concerned Cain and Moira Dingle.

Unfortunately, both of them got the wrong end of the stick and ended up kidnapping Nate when they believed he was about to crash Tracy’s wedding.

When they discovered the truth, Cain and Moira organised a ceremony of their own for the couple and Tracy has since moved back in the village.

Tracy was then willing to spread her wings and develop her own nursery business and Caleb revealed he’d be ready to invest – but she also made some enemies.

Upon her return to Emmerdale, Tracy bumped into Leyla Harding and their friendship turned sour as she announced she’d be moving into Tug Ghyll with Nate and their daughter Frankie.

This left Leyla bubbling with rage as she realised her home was being taken away from her.

How will she feel if Tracy was to steal her man as well as her house?
